This rare signed edition was published in conjunction with Banksy's first large scale show in America, which took place in downtown Los Angeles in 2006. Billed as a 'vandalised warehouse extravaganza', the exhibition's show-stopper was a live elephant, camouflaged in a flocked wallpaper pattern, standing demurely in a faux living room. The proverbial 'elephant in the room' was, in this instance, first world apathy in the face of third world poverty. The accompanying set of prints include some of the artist's most iconic images including 'Sale Ends Today', 'Auction', 'Shopping Trolleys', 'Grandmas', 'Applause' and Destroy Capitalism'. This particular set is extremely rare, 1 of only 6 sets signed by the artist. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the Studio Director of Modern Multiples Fine Art Editions, Richard Duardo, and the publisher, Steve Lazarides.
