A bronze figure of a standing Manjushri with silver and copper inlay
Western Tibet, 12th century
Standing on a lotus base, flanked by a lotus bearing his manuscript and holding his sword aloft, wearing a long dhoti secured with a pendant belt and adorned with multiple necklaces and other jewelry, all inlaid with copper, silver and hardstones, his face with benevolent expression and silver eyes, his hair pulled into a high chignon and secured with a foliate tiara inlaid with hardstones, silver and copper
