Composed of pieces of 18th century Chinese silk damask and brocade arranged in the form of a grid of nine quartered squares
Silk fabric, some with brocade or surface embellishment

Lot Essay

A ritual cloth of this size would have been used by Tibetan monks when handling ritual objects during tantric services.
