"I hadn't had this wine in almost 4 years and while it is as brilliant as it ever was, the nose was slightly more advanced than I would have guessed but otherwise, the nose had compelling complexity with menthol, anise and clove notes adding nuance to the maturing white flower fruit aromas. The crisp, beautifully delineated middle weight flavors offer real style and breed with the same compelling complexity of the nose and culminates in a finish of superb intensity and length. This is a seriously impressive wine with class to burn. Approachable now but better in two to three years." BH, May 5, 2006
