A WHITE JADE ARCHAISTIC VESSEL AND COVER, TULU
Carved in the form of an archaic bronze pigment container, the rectangular body carved in low relief on two sides with formalized lotus sprays, the columnar corners carved with two scrolling dragons, raised on four waisted and lobed feet carved with four straps that continue underneath to criss-cross the bottoms, with a pair of lion- mask handles suspending loose rings, the cover surmounted by a coiled dragon set over a circular aperture and the corners with coiled chilong
