Carved in the shape of a guang of rectangular outline, raised on a spreading pedestal foot carved with a band of petal lappets, the front of the body carved with a bird in profile with the spout issuing from its open beak, with a bird-form loop suspending a loose ring below and with an angular scroll handle at the opposite end, the domed cover surmounted by a bird finial flanked by angular loops
