A PAIR OF RECTANGULAR SPINACH-GREEN TABLE SCREENS
Each deeply carved in mirror form and joining together as a sweeping panoramic landscape with pavilions set in tall mountains under pine trees by the banks of a swiftly running river, encircling a small island with further pavilions and tall mountains in the distance, with a scholar standing by a small bridge and awaiting his attendant, who holds a stack of books and approaches from the other side, the reverse of each carved with two mandarin ducks swimming amidst grasses and beneath a large fruiting and flowering branch
