The lower body painted in fifteenth-century style with a wide band of composite foliate scroll below a narrow band of crashing waves, the waisted neck with bands of composite floral scroll and upright leaves and applied with an unusual pair of S-shaped handles, each formed as the moon supported on swirling clouds, all below the galleried rim painted with classic scroll, the slightly splayed foot encircled by pendent leaves
