The deep bowl supported on a spreading pedestal foot encircled by a bow-string band, the exterior covered with a dark, purplish-blue glaze paling slightly at the rim, the interior white
7 3/8 in. (18.8 cm.) diam.

Lot Essay

A blue-glazed stem bowl of similar height and form, also with Yongzheng mark, although with a taller, more flared foot, was sold in our London rooms, Chinese Monochrome Porcelain from the Collection of the late Professor E.T. Hall, C.B.E., 7 June 2004, lot 27.
