The large tusk carved on the top half to resemble a bridge crowded with a variety of people including a person of high rank being carried in a palanquin and accompanied by a retinue of samurai; a wood-basin maker and a carpenter; two paper-umbrella makers; a fish monger; two farmers; a boy asking for a persimmon from an old man; a strolling musician and a wood-cutter enjoying a smoke; with a fitted wood base
