Meiji period (late 19th century), signed in red-lacquer reserve Meigyokuzan
The figure in mid-stride with her right foot raised, holding a fan and a tsuzumi drum, her hair arranged in an elaborate style and capped with a courtier's hat, her kimono decorated with phoenixes, paulownias and chrysanthemums on cloud patterns
