Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Narimasa and sealed Hirata (Hirata Narimasa)
The recatangular box set on four bracket feet and decorated with a rooster, hen and chick and young plants in silver, gold, shakudo and colored enamels, the interior with a silver liner decorated with a veranda and blossoming plants in katakiri-bori
