A Copper-red and Blue-decorated Porcelain Bottle
Joseon dynasty (19th century)
Of bulbous form with tall, cylindrical neck set on a short, circular foot, painted with two opposing reserves of longevity characters, the characters painted in underglaze blue and the borders in copper red and underglaze blue, the medallions separated by plum sprays with copper red blossoms and underglaze blue stems, a blue fret border below the rim, all covered by a glossy transparent glaze
