Comprising three pairs of sugar tongs: one with pierced cast arms and scalloped grips, maker's mark S.A, circa 1770, another by William Sumner (I) and Richard Crossley, London, circa 1770, bright engraved arms with leaf grips, and another similar, mark of George Smith (III), circa 1780; and two pairs of sugar nips: one by John McFerlan, London, circa 1765, the other with maker's mark I.H, in the early 18th century style
