several of the English and Continental views signed, the majority with attributions on the mounts

2° contemporary purple cloth, gilt edges, contained in a leather dust wrapper with yap edges (extremities rubbed, covers and spine rubbed and worn), contained in a morocco slipcase (rubbed and worn) with brass clasp engraved with monogram 'AC' beneath crest

The artist's daughter Matilda Brown (née Chinnery), and thence by descent to the present owner.
