Exhibiting boldly carved feet and dense, mahogany boards, this drop-leaf table is an exceptionally fine example of the Philadelphia form. It descended in the Bull family, whose ancestors William and Sarah (Wells) Bull built the Bull Stone House (1722) in Goshen, New York, now a museum and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
