Finely painted with Christopher Columbus standing firmly on his ship as others prostrate themselves at his feet, two men at the left hoisting a flag with the crowned initials FI for Ferdinand and Isabella
16 x 19 3/8 in. (40.5 x 49 cm.), within a giltwood frame
