MIDDLE KINGDOM-NEW KINGDOM, CIRCA 1878-1450 B.C.
The reverse sides with good luck signs, lotus flowers, scrolls, and names and titles, including a dark stone scarab rev. with Kha-kau-re (Senusret III, 1878-1841 B.C.), another rev. with Aa-kheper-(en)-re (Tuthmosis II, 1518-1504 B.C.), another rev. with Ka-neb-re (Saite period or earlier), a royal sphinx with cartouche of Men-kheper-re (Tuthmosis III, 1504-1450 B.C.), a monkey seal rev. with Amen-re, ¾ in. (2 cm.) long max.; and a lapis lazuli stone winged scarab in three parts, 3½ in. (9 cm.) wide overall (23)
