Evelyn Annenberg Hall was one of New York City's most dedicated and dynamic philanthropists and patrons of the arts until her death in 2005. Mrs. Hall's collections at her homes in New York, Palm Beach and Newport were a dazzling display of sophistication, richly juxtaposing paintings by Picasso and Soutine with Louis XV and Georgian furniture, Italian renaissance bronzes, Antiquities, and Chinese and Export porcelain. Her collections were sold in a series of sales at Christie's in 2006.
