A GEORGE III SILVER HELMET CREAM JUG
MARK OF CHARLES CHESTERMAN (I), LONDON, 1788
With panelled sides, reeded rim and loop handle, narrow band of Greek key decoration immediately below the rim, the oval pedestal foot on rectangular base, gilt interior -- 6 3/8 in. (16 cm.) high; Together with a George III cream jug, maker's mark rubbed away, London, 1773, of baluster form on trumpet foot with gadroon borders and leaf-capped scroll handle, engraved to front with a crest of a cockerel with outspread wings atop a fence -- 4¾ in. (12 cm.) high
