The cover engraved with a bird and a cottage amidst trees, all contained in a small shaped panel, encircled by a border of "C" scrolls on stippled ground, the base engraved with architectural panels around its sides, gilt interior; Together with a George II cartouche-shaped silver snuff box, mark of Robert Cox, London, 1744, the cover chased with Venus reclining on a shell within a scroll surround, the base with oval reserve engraved with a large contemporary bird crest, gilt interior (2)
