A celadon bowl and saucer,
Ming Dynasty
The bowl impressed at the centre with a small peony spray, covered overall in a thick glaze thinning at the rim and pooling at the base, 21.5cm. diam.; and a saucer supported on short foot, the shallow sides extending outwards, the interior with impressed flower-head, covered under an even celadon-grey glaze, 15.5cm. diam.
