Set with a detachable sugarloaf sapphire, weighing approximately 49.51 carats, accented by a tapered coil of calibré-cut sapphires and a graduated line of three carved emerald beads, each topped by a collet-set diamond, extending old European and single-cut diamond curling leaves, mounted in platinum, (accompanied by a contemporary bracelet mounting of later addition, with a central fitting for the cabochon sapphire from the brooch, flanked by carved emerald beads to the circular and baguette-cut diamond bifurcated band, mounted in platinum, 6¼ ins.)
