Qur'an II, sura al-baqara, vv.217-8, Arabic manuscript on paper with 5ll. of bold black muhaqqaq outlined with gold, vocalisation in red, blue and gold, letter pointing in green, gold and silver, roundel between verses with the word aya in kufic, slight staining, illumination slightly oxidised
