Persian manuscript on paper, 5ff. each with 6ll. of black nasta'liq staggered across the page, each line with a further line of smaller nasta'liq below, text panels laid down between gold, white and orange rules on variously coloured gold-sprinkled card, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, colophon signed Ghaybullah al-Imami, final folio with added panel of calligraphy by Shah Mahmud Nishapuri, first folio with added Safavid miniature in gold and polychrome illuminated border, some staining and marginal repair, loose in brown lacquer binding with floral border

Ghaybullah al-Imami is recordered as a nasta'liq scribe. Two of his recorded works are dated AH 893 (1487-88 AD) and AH 912 (1506-07 AD) (Mehdi Bayani, Ahval va Asar-e Khosh-Nevisan, Vol. II, Teheran 1346 sh, pp. 560-61, F.E.Karatay, Topkapi Sarayi Muzesi Kutuphanesi Farsia Yazmalar Katalogu, Istanbul, 1961, cat. 691).
