Comprising five very large rectangular tiles, together forming a large panel with two lines of elegant moulded white nasta'liq inscription set against a cobalt-blue ground painted with polychrome flowers, in a narrow raised border of meandering dense vine on a black ground, four with repaired breaks

The inscription is a hadith recorded as a divine hadith given to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel. It can be translated:
'The authority of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib - peace be upon him - is my fortification
Thus, whoever enters my fortification will be protected from my punishment'.
