'Imad Nur Kamal was a calligrapher from Transoxiana who was said to excel in thuluth and naskh. A Qur'an is known to have been copied by him in 1466 AD.

A Timurid Qur'an juz' of similar format and size is in the Nasser D. Khalili Collection (David James, After Timur, Oxford, 1992, no. 7, p. 34-37).
