Persian manuscript on buff paper, 4ll. of elegant black nasta'liq on a ground of gold floral illumination, the upper right hand corner with a triangular panel of gold and polychrome illumination, the opposite corner with the signature of Sultan 'Ali Mashhadi, laid down between wide blue borders with gold, white and black rules on cream gold-speckled margins, some creasing and rubbing, glazed
