Translation of religious poetry in praise of the Prophet, Ottoman Turkish manuscript on paper, 21ff. each with 15ll. of naskh arranged with one horizontal line of red naskh in two columns alternating with two lines of black naskh in one column, important words and names picked out in gold, later red catchwords, 13 gold and polychrome illuminated headpieces and a number of smaller square panels framing text, text panels with gold and black rules, some staining particularly in the margins and areas where the paint is beginning to seep through the paper, in possibly contemporary black morocco with gilt stamped medallions filled with arabesques
