Arabic manuscript on cream paper, 311ff. plus 3 fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh, catchwords, gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in white on gold ground, the margins with polychrome floral motifs marking different sections of the text, the opening bifolio with gold and polychrome floral illumination framing the text, the colophon with similar illumination, in original brown morocco with flap and gilt stamped decoration, the doublures of green paper
