A Belgian silver sugar basin and a silver milk jug
The first with maker's mark of B. van Bosterhaudt, Gent, 1815-1831, the second with indistinct marks, Belgium, first half 19th Century
The two-handled sugar basin on a rising circular base with beaded and foliate friezes, the body decorated with friezes of wrigglework, beading and foliage, the domed cover with a foliate frieze to the rim and bud finial, the vase-shaped milk jug with similar decoration, both items inscribed with initials on the foot rim
