TWO QAJAR MOULDED POTTERY TILES, IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Both of rectangular form, decorated under a clear glaze in blue, manganese and white, the first tile depicting a couple in a flowering landscape, the lady playing a musical instrument, the gentleman holding a falcon on his wrist - 6½ x 8½in (16.5 x 21.5cm); the second decorated with an archer riding a white horse before buildings and amongst flowers - 6¼ x 8½in (15.9 x 21.5cm) (2)
