See Marshall Katz and Robert Lehr, Palissy Ware, London, 1996, p. p. 145, fig. 188 for a similar pair. Also compare Grotesquerie: Form, Fantasy and Function in 19th Century European Ceramics, The Collection of Brooke Hayward Duchin, The New Orleans Museum of Art, 1997, p. 28, cat no. 12, for a garniture vase in the Rustic style thought to probably be by Victor Barbizet.
