Each of baluster form, the shoulder applied with a shield bearing an N and surmounted by an eagle, painted after Vernet with a continuous view of either the Battle of Wagram or the Battle of Friedland, the cover, neck and socle all with further Napoleonic emblems and gilt berried laurel branches, on a canted square base cast with a beaded ring and bearing the inscription LES ARTILLEURS & ANCIENS ARTILLEURS VOLONTAIRES DE CHARLEROI AU LIEUTENANT GOFFIN or XXVe ANNIVERSAIRE DE GRADE D'OFFICIER 1880-1906
