A PAIR OF MEISSEN ENAMELED COBALT-BLUE GROUND RETICULATED DESSERT PLATES
Circa 1860, blue crossed swords marks, both with an impressed 73, 8 and cypher, attributed to E.A. Leuteritz
Finely enameled in the Pompeian style with vignettes emblematic of the Water and Earth, one as a putto in a shell chariot being drawn by turtles, the other as a putto in a wheeled barrel drawn by snakes, each within a pierced entrelac band centering forget-me-nots and edged by a row of blue 'jewels'
