The gallant modeled standing before a tree, one arm around a basket of apples, the other outstretched, his dog and his hat at his feet, on a rocaille scroll base; the recumbent stag naturalistically modeled licking its side; together with a pair of Sitzendorf figures of a hunter and companion, impressed uppercase marks, he modeled holding a grouse, she a hare, on rocaille-molded bases
