Comprising a jardinière and pair of vases with associated lids, the rectangular jardinière set on the front and reverse with white-ground plaques painted with putti on the hunt, the sides painted with trophies, signed Eug. Poitevin, the angles mounted with winged putti kneeling upon a scrolling foliate frieze centred with lion masks and swags, on four hooved supports joined by an 'X'-shaped stretcher, the undersides of the feet stamped TT with various numbers, the vases decorated en suite, painted with nymphs and frolicking putti
