Each shaped rectangular with gadrooned borders and shells at intervals, the reversible domed cover with similar decoration and surmounted by a detachable acanthus calyx and shell-clad handle, the cover engraved with a coat-of-arms, crest and motto on each side, the stand on four gadrooned ball feet with scroll wood handles, with removable liner, fully marked, the stands apparently unmarked
The dish 11¾ in. (29.8 cm.) long over handles; 142 oz. 10 dwt. (4439 gr.) weighable silver (2)
