MARK OF ABRAHAM II DRENTWETT, AUGSBURG, 1699-1703
Each on an elongated octagonal plinth with a foliage, scalework and lobed border, the base chased to simulate rockwork, each applied with foliage, one further applied with fruits, one below a cast figure of a garland draped wolf with attendant winged putto, the other with a figure of a bear and similar attendant putto with arrow and quiver, each marked on back of plinth, further marked with later French import marks
the bases 6 in. (15.5 cm.) wide 7¼ in. (18.4 cm.) high
