Of square section, each facet painted in the Kakiemon palette with seated figures, animals and birds amongst pierced rockwork with stylised prunus and flower-sprays, enriched in gilding, with gilt-metal domed cover and loop chain, minor flaking and wear to enamels and gilding, slight surface scratching, small shallow chip to corner of one footrim
