Cartouche shaped, the hinged glazed cover set with a finely carved ivory plaque depicting a battle scene, possibly of the Siege of Vienna, 1683, the sides chased with foliage scrolls on a matted ground, the base chased with a dog and bird within a landscape, marked on cover bezel
