CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, GILDER'S 45., PRESSNUMMER 2
Painted in the manner of J.G. Höroldt, with two chinoiserie figures, one kneeling before the other, each with a basket or tray of wares, flanked by flowering plants within a quatrefoil cartouche enclosing Böttger lustre panels and issuing purple scrolls, the rim with a border of diaper panels and interlocking scrolls in gilding, the underside gadroon-moulded and enriched in purple lustre and gilding, some wear to enamels and gilding
5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) diam.
