In the form of an open book, the exterior enamelled in blue, pink and red overall with a design of dotted lozenges, the interior and base turquoise enamelled below the gilt rim

Lot Essay

Yuyan Shuwu, 'The Library of Bathing Inkstone', is a hall mark used in the Qianlong period. A pair of blue and white and underglaze red dishes with this mark was sold in our Hong Kong Rooms, 31 Oct 1994, lot 603.
