With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, 13 gold indexes and outer minute divisions in 1955 and its subsequent sale on 24 January 1956. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe invoice for the overhaul of the watch in Geneva in 2006.

Reference 2481 was launched in 1950 and was one of the largest wristwatches ever made by Patek Philippe. The model was fitted either with the standard silvered dial, but was also available with the cloisonné enamel version, depicting either landscapes, continents or portraits of famous personalities.
