Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1955 and its subsequent sale on 28 April 1956. It has never been offered in public before and is preserved in very good overall condition.

Reference 2508 was launched in 1951 and was in production until at least 1960. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 2nd edition, p. 204, pl. 328.
