Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and raised steel indexes in 1940 and its subsequent sale on 12 June 1941. It has never been offered in public before.

Production of the famous Calatrava reference 96 was launched in 1932. In 1950 it was replaced by reference 2457.
