"Interestingly, the nose is ever so slightly more developed than the regular cuvée and offers now mostly secondary aromas that even have a discreet hint of sous bois to them that are followed by big, robust, intense, concentrated and moderately tannic flavors buffered by ample extract and superb length. This is a powerful wine of exceptional focus and delineation as the minerality really comes up on the finish. Like the regular cuve, this has arrived at its apogee and I would be drinking it over the next 20 years as it has both the material and structure to go the distance. Multiple and consistent notes."
