This painting is from a series entitled BOSOM OF MOTHERLAND in which Haerizadeh focus on contemporary life in Tehran by studying the duality of everyday life between indoors and outdoors.

In this painting the scene is of a checkpoint in the streets of Tehran. A car is cut-away to reveal its occupants.
