Lot Essay

Provenance: Mrs. Mary Josephine Wilson, thence by descent.
These plates were given as a gift by Sandoz to his nurse, Mrs. Mary J. Wilson. A bronze Cire Perdue sculpture, CHAT ASSIS, and part of the same bequest, will be sold in sale 7620 lot 50 on 28 October at our King Street salerooms.
