Lot Essay

This and the following two images were made on location in the Mojave Desert, California for Stern Fotographie. In a feature titled 'Beauty and the Beast', Comte paired top model Jaime Rishar with exotic animals on loan from a Hollywood training school. Few prints survive from this shoot; lots 12-14 are each one of only a few known prints.
